One of the hardest things a parent may ever have to deal with is the illness of a child. Even when their child’s disease is not life threatening, as in the case of Autism, parents worry about the impact the disease will have on their child’s quality of life, and of course, they never stop hoping for a cure. Parents often feel helpless when they first find out that their child has Autism, but once they accept the fact, they become determined to help not only their child, but others with the same disease.
