Recent studies have indicated that there is a genetic element to Autism. This discovery may be what UCLA’s Daniel Geschwind calls the discovery an “anchor” in the quest to treat, and ultimately cure Autism. Many people who do Autism awareness fundraising give to causes that fund research, which will benefit those with the disease in the future, but many others who do Autism awareness fundraising give to causes that help people with the disease, as well as their friends and family members, cope and improve in the present. No matter which Autism awareness cause you choose to support, there are many ways that you can raise money to make a generous donation.
