Today the Los Angeles Times reported that Anthem and Blue Shield in California would begin paying for Autism therapy for Autistic children when deemed medically necessary. This is considered a small but important victory for California families with Autistic children, who will now be able to afford more help for their children, which may lead to better outcomes in adulthood.
